Grass Court
A grass court is one of the tennis surfaces known originally as lawn tennis.
Grass courts are made of grass in many different compositions depending on the tournament. Grass courts usually tend to be slippery, and the ball just skid of the floor and stays low whilst retaining lots of speed. It is also very rare for it to rise above the knee.
These courts are a lot more money and maintenance to take care of than other courts.
The most successful singles players on grass are Pete Sampras, Venus Williams Bijon Borg, Roger Federer, Novak Djokovic and Rod Laver. Wimbledon is the Grand slam that grass is played on.
